Barb “Too Tall” Monahan is returning to defend her 3 time ladies Championship title again in 2010. However, instead of returning to the drivers seat of her son Nate’s #705 S-10, the feisty racer will be joining forces with her husband Gerry Monahan in the new #766 S-10. There is two rumors circulating about her decision to move to driving the new truck in the ladies class. The first one is that since the #766 is a lot shorter, it will be easier for her to get into. The other is that Nate’s truck is too pretty this year and he does not want the firecracker driving it. However, the common question is: How the heck is she going to reach the pedals after Gerry drives?
When not driving, Barb can be seen at various places around the track photographing the other drivers. The face behind the Dirty Pics photos, Barb has a knack for being at the right place at the right time and getting some great shots!
